I'm 16, and my parents raised me so that I didn't watch TV or use the computer at all until I was 12, and even then there were strict time limits. (Yes, we did have the occasional family movie night, and I watched the Aristocats or Singin' In The Rain when I was sick. But still.) Not having much media exposure meant that I got my entertainment through playing or books, and I think that attitude has stayed with me.
