Sometimes, I just marvel at how beautiful our little girl is...

Rolling Over
She has been rolling over for quite a while now, which is pretty amazing considering she is only 2 1/2 months old. We put her to sleep on her tummy (with her pediatrician's approval!) and now almost every morning, she is on her back. She pushes herself up on her hands like she is doing a push-up and then rolls herself right over. She is so strong!

Musical Prodigies!
I was granted the pleasure of seeing two of my nephews this afternoon - Aiden and Parker. They are giving up the bottles cold turkey. To help make this an easier transition, my sister and her husband decided to have the boys themselves give me all of their bottles for Sariah. That way, the boys know that the bottles are gone, and they are the ones to give them away. Good luck!
While they were visiting, they decided to play the piano. Of course, Parker (the one on the right) wants to do everything his big brother wants to do. As soon as Aiden climbed up on that piano bench, Parker promptly climbed on up and joined him.
Then Aiden wanted to play me some songs. Here is his musical debut! Adam - I think it's a little better than "Lightly Roll." Look out, Mozart!
Amber gets crafty!
OK, so those of you who know me know that I am NOT crafty. Well...I got inspired. Someone in our ward had super cute bows for her little girl's hair, so I decided to make some too. Here is a picture of my latest project - taggie blankets. They are super easy, hard to mess up and incredibly adorable. Great combination for a beginner like me. :)

Cute Videos
Nothing special about this video. We just wanted to show Grandma and Grandpa Franklin how big she is and how cute she is. She's really tired, so a little cranky. But who isn't cranky when they're tired? This was just taken last night, after her bath.
Big Girl!
We went to the doctor this last week for Sariah's two month check-up. Here are her statistics:
11 pounds 2.5 ounces (55th percentile)
23 inches long (90th percentile)
head circumference? 25th percentile!
As I was filling out the little questionnaire they give you at the office, I noticed I was circling a lot of "yes" ones. Things like "If you stand her up, will she put pressure on her legs?" and "Will she track an object with turning her head 90 degrees while on her back?" and "Has she rollen over at least twice?" When I took the piece of paper into the doctor, she asked me if Sariah was really doing all of these things. When I told her yes, she said, "She's doing things that a 6-month old should be doing!" We are so blessed to have such a strong, healthy little girl. She is the light of our lives and are so amazed every day with what she can do.
At her age, going to the doctor usually means getting some shots. I am one who will watch surgeries on TV, and will not hesitate to do dissections with my students. But I absolutely could not watch the nurse poke my poor little girl. Here is a picture of her War Wounds...she got 4 shots!

Bath Time!
Sariah can be in the crankiest mood and instantly turn happy when placed in the bathtub. We placed a washcloth to make this video clip appropriate for everyone. Plus, when she's 10, she'll appreicate the modesty her mother gave her. =)
