6 months = food and mobility

Oh baby Seth.  How in the world are you 6 months old?

I can no longer leave you on the floor by yourself because by the time I come back around the corner, you are all the way across the room.  Or, as the case with this morning, I hopped out of the shower and you were basically under my bed - about 15 feet from where you started!

You LOVE food!  We just started you on some a couple days ago, and you just can't get enough of it. You eat anything and everything I have tried so far.  But I am not surprised because you are just that way - you're so easy going and wonderful.

How we love you!  Happy 6 months our angel baby.

Cousins

We are so lucky.  We are within 2 1/2 hours of each other, and our children just love their cousins.

Here are Sariah, Emerson, and Makenzie, huddled together while they "scheme" a way to get one of their cousins and chase him.

And Weston and Seth loving on each other.  These sweet boys are just 29 days apart.

May we always be so lucky to live so close.  May our children always love their cousins.  It was a perfect Thanksgiving.

Turkey

Sariah's play was adorable.  She was the cutest turkey up there.  Now if I can figure out how to get the videos to load...

Teeth count: 4

He's not even 6 months old, yet he has 4 teeth!  And a 5th one is working its way down.

But seriously - how cute is he?

Tickles and Teeth

Could this baby be any happier or easier?  I don't think so.  Especially when he laughs when you tickle him.  It's contagious.  Babies are one of life's greatest blessings because they bring a piece of heaven into our home.

When did she turn 16??

She found my straightener and wanted me to make her hair straight for church.  She looks so grown up and beautiful.  The girl who made me a mom and I love her so much.

I am lucky

My children have been playing so well together.

Seth is growing, happy, sleeping, playing, and brings so much joy into our home.

Our savings is growing and we are finally able to think about buying our own home.

We are coming up on 12 years of marriage.

My children have been loving on each other.

I am journaling again.  Even if it is 2 lines, I am journaling almost every day.  I don't want to forget these crazy days because I know some day I will miss them.

My body is getting stronger and recovering well from a physically taxing pregnancy.

My children are wonderful friends.

My husband has a very stable job and is on a terrific career path.

I am so lucky to have him, to have my 3 offspring, and to be in this place in my life.
